DIGEST THAT — TERMS & CONDITIONS (UK)

1. General

By purchasing a ticket to Digest That (“the Event”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

The Event is organised in the United Kingdom and governed by English law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

2. Ticket Purchase & Entry

All tickets are issued subject to availability and remain the property of the organiser.

Entry is conditional upon presentation of a valid ticket.

The Event is strictly 18+. Valid photo identification may be required for entry. Entry may be refused without refund if valid ID is not provided.

We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee for reasonable grounds including, but not limited to, safety, security, or misconduct.

3. Refunds, Cancellations & Changes

All tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, except where required under UK consumer law.

If the Event is cancelled, ticket holders will be entitled to a refund of the ticket face value.

If the Event is postponed or materially changed, ticket holders will be offered appropriate options in line with UK consumer protection legislation.

The organiser is not responsible for additional costs incurred by attendees (including travel, accommodation, or related expenses).

4. Event Format & Programme Changes

The Event programme, speakers, guests, timings, food, drinks, and experiences are subject to change without notice due to operational or availability reasons.

We reserve the right to make reasonable substitutions or adjustments where necessary.

5. MØRNING Mentorship Draw

By opting into the MØRNING mentorship draw, you agree to enter a selection process for a post-event 1:1 mentorship session with MØRNING.

  • Entry requires a valid Digest That ticket and opt-in submission

  • One winner will be selected by the MØRNING team based on their submission, creative practice, and alignment with the opportunity

  • The prize has no cash alternative and is non-transferable

  • The mentorship is subject to availability and mutual scheduling between the winner and MØRNING

  • The organiser reserves the right to amend or withdraw the prize where necessary

6. Open-Source Contact List (Opt-In Only)

By opting into the open-source contact list, you agree that:

  • Your contact details will be shared with other attendees who have also opted in

  • You will receive access to the attendee contact list after the Event

Participation is voluntary and opt-in only. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting the organisers.

The organisers are not responsible for how attendees use shared contact information once distributed.

7. Data Protection (UK GDPR)

We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Personal data is used solely for:

  • Event administration

  • Communication about the Event

  • Management of opt-in features (e.g. mentorship draw, contact list)

Data will not be sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes without consent.

8. Accessibility, Allergies & Dietary Requirements

Attendees must inform the organisers in advance or on arrival of any allergies, dietary requirements, or accessibility needs.

While reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate requirements, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Attendance and consumption of food and drink is at the attendee’s own risk.

9. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

  • Any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law

Subject to the above, the organisers shall not be liable for:

  • Loss or damage to personal property

  • Indirect or consequential loss

  • Costs incurred in relation to attendance

Attendance is at your own risk.

10. Alcohol & Conduct

Alcohol may be served at the Event.

We operate a responsible service policy in accordance with UK licensing law. We reserve the right to refuse entry or service to any attendee behaving irresponsibly, or in breach of venue rules or licensing obligations.

11. Photography, Film & Recording

The Event may be photographed, filmed, or recorded for marketing and editorial purposes.

By attending, you acknowledge that your image, likeness, or voice may appear in such materials. If you do not wish to appear in media, please inform the organisers on arrival and reasonable steps will be taken to accommodate your request.

12. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform obligations where such failure is due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: extreme weather, government restrictions, venue closure, or technical failure.

13. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing a ticket and attending the Event, you confirm acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
