Share a recipe that has taken you by surprise, whether that’s due to what’s inside or the person, who made it. Please bring a recipe that fits the theme. Kit Delamain might be wearing a chef's coat, but rest assured, he is a baker at heart. After finding his feet at St.John, Kit shaped his baking career while running The Old Post Office Bakery in Clapham North. A rising desire for pizza dough directed him towards Pizzeria da Michele in Naples, where he would be right now had it not been for his declined visa application. Instead, he stayed in London and has been heading Circus Pizza at Panzer's Delicatessen's since the dawn of 2025, adding everything from Neapolitan classics to sweet custard pizza to the menu.
When not concocting somewhat bizarre pizza toppings, Kit devotes his free time to perfecting various types of bread, buns and cakes, constantly pushing the boundaries of sweet, savoury and — as some might say — sane baking. But that's where the fun begins!

Wholegood supplies fresh produce for our Test Kitchen Club, partnering with organic and biodynamic farmers to champion sustainable agriculture, reduce waste, and empower smarter food choices.
We’re partnering with Popoli olive oil, which has been handcrafted from groves in the Italian region of Abruzzo by the same family for three generations. Made from four different olive varieties — including Leccino, Gentile, Peranzana, and Moraiolo — it’s a bold and peppery blend with a silky finish. At Popoli, olive oil is culture, family, and land, now shared worldwide, one small-batch drop at a time.
We have partnered with Yes Please! Studios for our Test Kitchen, a creative food space in the heart of Hackney created by food & drink photographer Tim Atkins.
