JOIN OUR 7TH MONTHLY TEST KITCHEN & RECIPE SWAP
Grab a drink, take a seat next to a stranger, swap recipes and taste one of our chef‘s dishes to this month‘s theme.
Once a month on a Sunday, Come Together invites you into its Test Kitchen Club – a relaxed afternoon tasting and recipe exchange, where our chefs cook something new and diners pass on a memory of their own. This is a chance to get our community together every month and indulge in our chefs’ delights.
Recipes tell stories, and swapping them offers a piece of yourself in exchange for a new perspective. Recipes are moments in time, tasters of the cook’s personality and experiences. In other words: a chef’s biography. Find new connections/friends by sharing your food memories with strangers.
We have partnered with Yes Please! Studios for our Test Kitchen, a creative food space in the heart of Hackney created by food & drink photographer Tim Atkins.
THIS MONTH’S THEME - PASSED PLATES
Passed Plates is all about connecting and uniting through food. These are dishes passed down from family to friends and beyond. Each Passed Plate carries connection and community, grounding us in who we are..
Please bring a recipe that fits the theme. You can screenshot it on your phone or jot it down in your notes!

PARTNERS
Wholegood is our fresh produce sponsor for our October Test Kitchen Club, sourcing fruit and veg for our chef. Wholegood makes sustainable eating easier by bringing you produce from the best organic & biodynamic farmers – farmers that care about the soil they grow in as much as the flavour it produces. You have the choice to decide what you buy and eat – what type of agriculture you support and the impact it has on the environment. Since humbler beginnings in 2007, we've grown into a force for change, championing sustainability in the wholesale and grocery industry, reducing waste, and empowering our customers to make smarter, more sustainable choices towards a safer food future for us all. Certified Organic, certified Biodynamic – basically just really fucking cool.
We’re partnering with Popoli. Handcrafted in Abruzzo, Italy, where their family has cultivated olives for three generations. Made from four local varieties – Leccino, Gentile, Peranzana, and Moraiolo – it’s bold, peppery, and silky smooth, elevating everything from slow-simmered sauces to sea salt gelato. For us, olive oil is more than food – it’s culture. It’s our parents and grandparents harvesting olives on the same land for half a century. It’s respect for the land, it’s who we are. Sitting around a big table of friends and family in Italy is never complete without olive oil. It’s what brings us together. Most Mediterranean families who own land make their own olive oil to distribute among their always large families (cousins, cousin’s cousins – it adds up). Now, we’re sharing our small-batch, cold-pressed, unfiltered olive oil with the world – because everything good in life starts with a drop of olive oil.
