Girls in Film and Come Together are collaborating on this special event, blending film and food, with chefs TAPARI, designing a 3-course menu inspired by the theme ‘SPICY’, carrying this into a screening curated by Girls in Film. Expect thoughtful plates, surprising short films, and a creative, playful experience.
The theme will set the mood for the night, with each dish building on the ideas, emotions, and visuals sparked on screen. Come for the films, stay for the food, and meet good people.
Girls in Film is a global network and organisation that represents, champions and connects the new generation of women, non-binary and trans creatives in the film industry. We believe that changing the gender bias in the film industry starts with bringing these groups to the forefront.
SPICY
Spicy means more than just heat. Nepali girls crave it – from bursts of chilli and hits of salt to savoury fullness. But spicy isn’t just on the plate. It’s bold tastes and feisty personalities, racy and empowering moments, juicy gossip, bites with attitude, and scenes that shock and surprise.
For one evening, TAPARI and Girls in Film will each interpret the theme in their own way, together revealing the full spectrum of the word 'spicy' in all its flavour, feeling, and fire.
